Barron Trump has enrolled in an exclusive private school in Palm Beach, Florida for the new school year.
An Oxbridge Academy spokesperson announced earlier this week that Melania and Donald Trump’s 15-year-old son has enrolled in elite school as part of the 2024 class, People reported.
“We look forward to welcoming him to our school and our community,” said Scott Siegfried, director of school advancement, quoted by the outlet.
Siegfried said The Palm Beach Post that this will be the first time Oxbridge Academy has had to deal with the Secret Service, who are working with those responsible to ensure they “have little impact on [the school’s] Daily operations. “
“They did it for the children of other former presidents. They are fantastic,” he added.
A spokesperson for the Trump family also confirmed Barron’s listing for People. However, no further details were revealed about this.
Oxbridge Academy, located in West Palm Beach, was founded in 2011 by billionaire William Koch, a former Trump campaign fundraiser and brother of Republican mega-donors Charles and David Koch. According to its website, 77% of the school’s faculty hold graduate degrees and 40% of its roughly 500 students receive financial aid.
The school offers individualized attention and small class sizes with over 170 courses, and its student-athletes have won several state championships and dozens of regional and district titles. The academy also offers its students lively program choices, including a Spirit Week, field trips and student clubs, according to their website.
The tuition fee for Oxbridge Academy High School for the 2021-2022 school year is $ 34,800, according to its website.
Barron’s new school is just a 15-minute drive from their Mar-a-Lago club, where he and his parents have been staying since leaving the White House.
But while they now live in Palm Beach, the Trump family still visits their New York home from time to time.
In July, Melania and Barron were pictured together leaving the Trump Tower where they stayed in the Big Apple. In photos of the rare appearance, the teenager towered over the former first lady as he helped his mother carry her limited-edition orange Louis Vuitton x Richard Prince bag.
Barron’s parents appeared to have spent the summer apart. The former president traveled to his club in Bedminster, New Jersey, without his wife and son after celebrating Mother’s Day together in Mar-a-Lago.
Michael Wolff, the New York Times bestselling author of “Landslide: The Final Days of the Trump Chairman,” claimed Donald and Melania aren’t together most of the time and “nobody really knows” where they live. former first lady.
“[Melania] isn’t with him often, ”he told the Daily Mail in an exclusive interview in July. “It was true when he was in the White House and it is true now. The people around Trump still have questions, but they don’t want to ask these questions. This is still the third rail that no one wants to touch. “
