Upmarket grocer Donnybrook Fair’s new outlet in downtown Dundrum in Dublin has secured exclusive Irish access to a “limited edition” wine from François-Louis Vuitton, great-great-grandson of the eponymous luxury luggage maker, for those who love their Christmas to have a whiff of Celtic Phoenix excess.
The price, at 950 € the case of 12, and a luxury packaging at the height of the Vuitton poster, with bottles presented in black boxes stamped with the three initials “FLV”. The bottles were aged in the cellars of its original château and are labeled and packaged by Maison Bouey.
The Dundrum boutique has 100 cases out of the 700 cases of the first Personal edition: Mr. François-L Vuitton wine.
Donnybrook Fair wine specialist Antonia Dominguez said the Irish retailer was “delighted to launch these high-end cases after a successful visit to Bordeaux. The collection features wines with exceptional pedigree from some of the best vintages of recent years and will be an exciting addition to any wine lover’s cellar.
The Dundrum store is the sixth and the first new outlet for Donnybrook Fair, owned by the Musgrave Group, since the family group Cork bought the Dublin chain in 2018.
