Huntington Police Blotter: $10,000 Stolen Power Tools

HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what’s going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from June 12 to June 19.

The Suffolk County Police Department released the following information. All charges are charges and do not imply guilt.

  • June 19: A robbery (third degree) was reported on Third Avenue at the Huntington station at 12:30 a.m. Someone stole a 2020 Acura MDX, police said.
  • June 17: A burglary (third degree) was reported on Walt Whitman Road in South Huntington starting June 16 at 7 p.m. Someone stole $10,000 worth of power tools, hand tools and a laptop computer from a vacant construction site at 350 Walt Whitman Road, police said. . The burglar or burglars broke through the locks on the back doors of the building, police said.
  • June 16: A burglary (second degree) was reported on Bouton Road in Lloyd Harbor at midnight. Someone used a rock to smash the window of a woman’s home office and stole her Louis Vuitton handbag, which contained credit cards, police said.
  • June 13: A robbery (fourth degree) was reported on Landing Road in Huntington from April 8 at 10 a.m. Someone stole $2,600 worth of jewelry from a home, police said.
