Travel, goodies and more are among the online auction items offered at the Zephyr Theater Fundraising Gala. Anyone can participate in the auction, even without attending the gala.
“An online auction is one way to reach a larger audience, especially for those who couldn’t get a gala ticket,” said Mary Donatelli, Marketing Director of The Zephyr. “We have a wide variety of items, from gift baskets to exotic destinations. “
The “Let the Art Move You” fundraising gala will take place on September 26th. The online silent auction begins at noon on September 25 and ends at 2 p.m. on September 26. The winning bidders will be announced online by 3:00 p.m. on September 26. and the items will be delivered on September 27.
The James Mulvey Inn, a Stillwater Bed and Breakfast, offers an overnight stay combined with tickets to The Zephyr’s vacation show “It’s a Wonderful Life”.
Farmaste, a sanctuary for abused and neglected farm animals in Lindstrom, offers a guided farm tour for eight people. Trader Joe’s in Woodbury collects a basket of groceries and Sarah’s Self Service Dog Wash in Stillwater donates a handmade dog bed and outfit.
“I was impressed with the enthusiasm of such a wide range of businesses in the area to support the Zephyr Theater fundraising event. From nonprofits to small businesses to a national franchise, ”said Donatelli.
Money raised from the annual gala and online auction will be used for upcoming Zephyr productions, such as “Clue” and “It’s a Wonderful Life,” and to support The new youth education programs. Zephyr.
“There is also a special sponsorship opportunity for the artists’ green room to bear your name,” said Donatelli.
Most theaters have a green room, a waiting room and an artists’ lounge. At Zéphyr, the green room is a new location at the north end of the theater which will be renovated to accommodate artists. The cost to have your name attached to the new Zephyr Green Room is $ 5,000.
To donate to the hall renovations which includes updated changing rooms, makeup counters, bathroom and living room, auction participants can contribute in increments of $ 100. Sponsorship and donation are part of the auction.
Galactic Cowboy Orchestra, September 24
The four-member Galactic Cowboy Orchestra has this to say about themselves: “2021 sees the band with a new drummer, a new studio release and a stronger ethic than ever to create the ultimate musical moment between players. and the public with their art rock / jazz fusion creations. The Galactic Cowboy Orchestra will perform on September 24 at 7 p.m. on the outdoor stage of the Zephyr Theater, 601 Main St. N., Stillwater. “The Aristocats” on October 7 and 9
The Zephyr Young Actors Theater presents “The Aristocats”, a tale of Parisian cats of high society, living in mansions that are thrown into the desert. A bunch of musical alley cats save the day. The actors are 8 to 12 years old. “The Artistocats” will be performed at 6:30 pm on October 7 and at 6:30 pm on October 9 on the indoor stage of the Zephyr Theater, 601 Main St. N., Still Water. Compagnie Anda Flamenco, October 10

Haunted History Tram Tours, through October
Climb aboard the trolley and take a journey through Stillwater’s spooky past – if you dare. Tours are presented by Wahoo Adventures and the true stories are told by actors skilled at unearthing ghouls and ghosts in the Old Town. Haunted History Trolley Tours will be offered on October 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 28 and 29 with boarding at the Zephyr Theater, 101 Water St. S., Stillwater. Departure times are staggered. Masked Ball, October 30
Costumes are optional at this fourth annual Zephyr party, but why miss the chance to dress up as your favorite superhero, moody monster, cartoon character, or vampire vixen? The 21+ party includes the Haunted History Trolley Tour, live music, a scavenger hunt, prizes, food and drink. The Masquerade Ball will be held from 6 p.m. to midnight on October 30 at the Zephyr Theater, 101 Water St. S., Stillwater.
